I just installed Skype on the MacBook Pro. My missionary sister wants to be able to talk to her kid brother on the cheap so we're trying to set that up. I just wonder, are there any Frankly Speaking readers out there that have experience with Skype? What can you tell me about it?

A good friend of ours just returned from a year-long military assignment in Turkey. Her husband lived in Kansas and they communicated via Skype several times a week. They loved it. If you are going to use it a lot, they suggest that you get a head-set type microphone.

I use Skype to talk with all of my clients over seas. It's a beautiful little tool and I love it.
I use it with me bluetooth headset.
