The Weight Watch

Recognize the guy in the first picture? I don't either. Believe it or not, that was me in March 2005. Regular readers of Frankly Speaking know that I underwent bariatric weight loss surgery on October 4. This has been a resounding success for me. I recently passed the fifty-pound milestone (a good thing, as opposed to say, a kidney stone). Since the surgery I have lost 59 pounds! Add that to the 35 pounds I lost prior to the procedure, and I am quickly closing in on the 100 pound park (only 6 pounds away).

All that means that I will soon need a new picture for my profile. And when I am at my "ideal" weight, which has yet to be determined by my physician, I will title my book, "Half the Man I Used to Be."
